Getting there

Located just off the western coast of Viti Levu, the Mamanuca Islands are visible from the Nadi coastline and easily accessible from the mainland. You can get there by boat, seaplane or helicopter, with many companies offering charters and transfer services.

Upon arriving at the airport, you will make the 25 minute trip to the Denarau Marina, ensuring you arrive 25 minutes before your launch transfer (this does not apply to South Sea Island Cruises, Water Taxi or Malolo Cat). Launch transfers from the Denarau Marina to the Mamanuca Islands take approximately 2 hours and depart regularly throughout the day.

South Sea Cruises has fast, modern vessels providing resort connections to all resorts in the Mamanucas. All vessels have air-conditioned lounges, viewing decks, full bar services and commentary.

Mamanuca Express offers a 24 hour water taxi service between Port Denarau Marina and all resorts in the Mamanuca Islands. This express speedboat transfer is perfect if you want a direct connection to your island resort for late night flight arrivals or for early morning flight departures.

A helicopter transfer is a great way to see Fiji! this allows you to maximise your ‘Island Time’ by avoiding unnecessary delays or an over-night wait for other forms of transfers.  Most offer express transfers from Nadi Airport or Denarau to Mamanuca Island Resorts.
