It's Shallow!
Any watersport you can think of...you can probably partake of in The Bahamas. Kiteboarding, waverunners, bonefishing, kayaking, snorkelling, deep-sea fishing, island boat tours, wild dolphin excursions and even shark encounters are just some of the options. The water is warm year-round and there are plenty of operators available to make your dreams a reality.
The Bahamas offers plenty of options to immerse yourself in the natural world and there are a number of eco-tours you can take. Due to its size, the island of Andros is very popular for nature walks and swims. The pristine ecosystems provide the perfect place to experience the flora and fauna of the Caribbean.
Shopping is a highlight of any stay in the Bahamas. The government has abolished import duty on a number of items including perfumes, crystal, leather goods, photographic equipment and a lot more, making these products very cheap. There are also locally made products to keep an eye out for, including Androsia, which is a batik which is made in Andros. Natural sponges are another popular item.
