The northernmost province of Thailand, Chiang Rai borders the infamous Golden Triangle, where Thailand, Laos and Burma converge at the mighty Mae Khong River. This mountainous region offers natural beauty, ancient ruins, fascinating hill tribe cultures and fantastic bargains on local handicrafts.   • Night Bazaar: The night market is located in the middle of downtown, Changrai. Local products, cultural performances and restaurants can be found here.
  • Wat Rong Khun: A visit to this contemporary Buddhist Temple is must. the architecture of the structure is fascinating.
  • Saun Mai Ngam Park: This national park has many beautiful flowers and trees, which are more then 100 years old. The Chiang Rai Flower festival is held here at the end of the year.
